Understanding the process of learning

The process of learning

When asking this question one must have a predefined expectation of when the answer should be yes and when it should be no. This would normally vary among people since everyone sets their own expectations of how well they should know something before feeling satisfied. Either way there must be an internal model people use to determine the quality of their achieved knowledge. I will not try to set a value to how much one should know before qualifying as knowing. Instead, I will just try to present different ways of measuring the success of learning (how much knowledge was aqcuired out of the maximum knowledge that could be aqcuired).

A more in depth discussion about these possible measures of learning can be found here.
